one of the prime positions along the Fylde Coast near the beach. The hotel
was refurbished recently to upgrade their rooms, which include family rooms,
four-poster rooms and rooms that have a spectacular view of the sea. The
Glendower Hotel restaurant serves a broad array of different cuisine while
the New Waves leisure suite offers guests a heated pool and sauna as well

The De Vere Herons' Reach
Hotel is a bit out of town but offers enough amenities to make the trip

steam room and swimming pool. A short 10-minute drive from the beach, the
Reach Hotel sits on 236 acres of sprawling coast countryside and boasts
of some of the most luxurious accommodations around. The De Vere Herons'
Reach Hotel is regarded by many as the most stylish hotel in Blackpool.
Among
Blackpool's other historic country retreats of note are the Mains Hall Country
House Hotel, which was founded in 1536 and has rich connections to royalty,
and the Tudor-style Brabyns Hotel, which is about a mile away from the seafront.
If
you're looking for a guest house with that distinct "home away from home" feel,
then Blackpool will not disappoint as the place is practically bursting
with them. There are so many of them that you can count on finding a handful
of guest houses wherever you are in Blackpool, whether on the North Shore,
Central Shore or South Shore.
On the North Shore, the Rubens Hotel
on Lord Street or the Grampians House on Pleasant Street are excellent choices.
